Overview

Tirlán is offering a unique opportunity for a graduate to join our team as an Logistics Associate in our Ballyragget facility. This role will report to Domestic Transport & Optimisation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • To work closely with the transport operations team on a daily basis in the delivery of efficient service to our internal and external customers
  • To identify process improvements with the daily operations to help drive efficiencies for internal and external stakeholders
  • Bring in new ways of thinking and ideas using knowledge and experience from your relevant studies
  • To work as a member of the wider logistics team, undertaking delegated tasks and responsibilities in line with the emerging needs and operational requirements of the service.
  • Support the management and delivery of key strategic priority projects for the Logistics team and lead your own improvement projects from start to finish
  • Integrate learnings between the individual Logistics functions to drive improvements across the wider logistic function.


Requirements
  • High academic record to date and expected minimum of a 2.2 honours degree
  • Record of high achievement and delivery
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven self-starter with the drive and desire to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
