We have an exciting opportunity for a Survey Technician to join our Whangarei team.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our survey business in Whangarei and across the Northland region. The role will see you:
  • Taking leadership for the completion and delivery of projects
  • Supporting junior staff
  • Growing client relationships
  • Contributing to the strategy of the national business

Our Whangarei office is made up of approximately 30 individuals working across several disciplines. It is a tight knit office that prides themselves on delivering quality work for our clients driven by a strong team culture. We will give you the tools, support and most importantly, the right level of challenge to enable you to excel in the role.
While your focus will be on Whangarei and the Northland region, by being part of a large multidisciplinary firm you will have the opportunity to be involved in both varied national and international projects. You will be part of the national survey team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the leadership of this group. You will be encouraged to travel to other offices around the country to meet and connect with the wider business and gain the support you need in your new role.

About you

You will have a wide range of survey experience ideally with experience in a consulting environment. You will have a strong sense of ownership and proven record of delivering on time, while also being open to developing your client facing skills.
More importantly we are looking for someone who embraces challenges, likes to learn and leads with a mindset of continual improvement. You will be a value-driven person who enjoys sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence for your clients. You will have a desire to grow your skills and develop yourself professionally, as well as assisting with mentoring and developing junior staff.
