You will report to Regional Manager Offer Management CEMEA and work together with the Offer Management Team in CEMEA to provide commercial consultancy for sales and Vmware management. This role provides the opportunity to gain/further develop analytical, creative and communication skills and work alongside each team member all over CEMEA for a specific period of time.

Exceptional operational execution is at the heart of this team’s deliverables, which guarantees an interesting yet demanding opportunity, bringing with it the option for raising the Intern’s personal profile with the wider Sales Organisation. Working on biggest and most important deals in the region is another advantage of this position.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes you will work towards completing?

In the first phase you will be introduced to the role of Offer Managers and learning the tools we are using to explain commercial benefits of Vmware‘s offering. You will attend series of Offer Management specific courses to gain the insight to the role.

After successful completion of the first phase, you will work with the team to provide best in class commercial consultancy to the customer and sales, as well as evaluate the quality of the deal. The expectation is, that those tasks are driven by yourself with passion and enthusiasm, while you can always rely on the full support from the complete CEMEA OM team.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • Support Offer Managers in their day to day activities including working on the biggest and most important deals in sub-region
  • Produce customer financial business cases on behalf of Field Sales (ROI & ROCE)
  • Create commercially oriented customer reports (spend history, inventory reports)
  • Produce solution Return On Investment (ROI) calculations for customer technology scenarios
  • Analyse customer inventories (install base) to determine up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support team in additional CEMEA wide programs

Dejan Milenković is the Manager for the CEMEA Offer Management Team. He will ensure that you are successful in this role and will, together with the CEMEA OM Team, offer continued guidance and support.

Where is this Role Located?

The location of this role is flexible within Germany. Our German Office is based in Munich, which is preferable location, but work can and will also be done remotely from any other location within Germany. German language knowledge is also preferred skill, but not mandatory.
